Stairlift Costs UK is a commercial website operated by Whito Ltd. We publish guides to stairlift prices, types, grants and installation to help you make a better decision. When you contact a supplier through our site and then go on to buy a stairlift from them, the supplier pays us a commission. You are never charged by us, and you do not pay a higher price because of us. If you only request a quote and do not buy, we are not paid. The presence of these commercial relationships does not influence our editorial judgements. Our editorial process is described on our Editorial Policy page.
How we earn money
- Commission on completed sales. When you enquire through our site and buy from one of our partner suppliers, the supplier pays Whito Ltd a commission. If you do not buy, we are not paid.
- Affiliate links. Some outbound links to supplier websites are tracked. If you click one and later complete a purchase, we may be paid a commission by that supplier. You do not pay us. You do not pay more because of us.
- Display advertising. A small number of pages may carry display adverts from third-party ad networks. Those adverts are not editorial recommendations.
- Sponsored content. If we ever publish a sponsored article, it is labelled “Sponsored” at the top of the page and the commercial partner is named.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your contact details.
- We are not paid per enquiry or per quote. We are only paid if you complete a purchase.
- We do not add a margin to the price the supplier quotes you.
- We do not broker finance, arrange credit, or charge the reader for any service.

How we choose suppliers to recommend
We accept a supplier as a commercial partner only when all of the following are true:
- They are a UK-registered company with valid insurance.
- They meet our minimum review threshold on independent review platforms (Trustpilot or Feefo).
- They agree to handle reader data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- They accept our contact-window and complaint-handling rules.
We do not rank suppliers by the commission they pay us. Where a page names or orders suppliers, the ordering criteria are stated on that page.
What happens when you contact a supplier through our site
- You are introduced to one of our partner suppliers. The supplier, not Whito Ltd, contacts you.
- Whito Ltd is notified of the introduction so we can track whether a sale follows. We are paid a commission by the supplier only if you buy.
- You can withdraw at any time by contacting us or by telling the supplier you no longer wish to proceed. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are made by the editorial team named on our Editorial Policy page. Commercial partners do not see articles before publication. Commercial partners cannot request changes, additions or removals to editorial content. Where a commercial partner is named in an article, the disclosure at the top of the article states the relationship.
Corrections and complaints
If you believe an article is inaccurate, unfair, or misleading, contact us using the details below. We aim to respond within five working days. Confirmed corrections are logged on our Corrections page with the date and what changed.
Regulatory position
